Our story
A field, a family, and a view we couldn't keep to ourselves.
Aelwyd Bay started when we parked our own tent on this clifftop and woke up to the sound of the sea. That was fifteen summers ago. Since then we have kept the field small, the grass long, and the welcome warm.
We are a family-run site with 42 pitches, nine glamping pods and four shepherd's huts. Every spot faces the water, and every guest gets the same thing we fell in love with: room to breathe, stars that go on forever, and a coastline that changes with every tide.

We run a pack-in, pack-out field and provide recycling across the site.

Our hedgerows are left long and the cliff path is kept clear for walkers.
Local first
Breakfast rolls, pizza nights and camp shop basics come from Pembrokeshire suppliers.
Slow mornings
No rush, no traffic noise — just the kettle and the gulls.
Meet the team
The ones who make it happen
Elin and Gareth run the site day-to-day. Elin looks after bookings, the camp shop and the flower beds. Gareth maintains the facilities, mows the field and knows every stretch of the coast path.
In the summer our children help with pizza nights and fire-bowl gatherings. By morning you will find us clearing paths, filling water butts and making sure the first pot of coffee is ready.
